Our Story

Spot On Games LLC, established in 2024 by Sue Dohm and Linda Pelnik, is nestled in the vibrant community of Cary, North Carolina. Both from families with a rich tradition of game playing, Linda and Sue founded the company fueled by their shared passion for games and a commitment to enriching family and friend gatherings.

Spot On Games is dedicated to designing games that are easy to learn, quick to enjoy, and accessible to players of all ages and abilities. Our goal is to create experiences that bring people together and make every game night more memorable.

Our Games

Our inaugural game, That's Spot On!, perfectly embodies our mission, delivering an engaging and approachable experience that lives up to our company's name. Think you’ve got the best poker face at the table? Think again. That’s Spot On! cranks up the classic game of Liar’s Dice with bold twists that keep everyone guessing until the last round. Perfect for families, friend groups, and game nights of all kinds, this is not your average dice game — it’s bluffing, bidding, and strategy — and correctly yelling out “Spot On!” to keep you in the game.

Our newest game, Spot & Snap Safari, builds on that foundation with a playful, family-friendly adventure that sparks excitement, encourages interaction, and keeps players coming back for another round. Players race through the reserve, track elusive animals, and outsmart fellow explorers to complete their Safari Photo Album first. Beautifully illustrated by a local artist, Spot & Snap Safari is as captivating to look at as it is to play.

Simply put, this game is excellent. We’re big on game night. We’ve played euchre with my family for years. We love a weeknight round of Rummikub. And while we’re suckers for Catan, it can be hard to play with newbies and often starts a fight or two.
